Finds from the Lisnacroghera Bog in Antrim, Northern Ireland, including a short sword, scabbard, spear head and spear terminals, shield boss with a triskelion, and an early form of a bronze hanging bowl, likely for ritual use, 3-2nd Century BC.

“For arms they have a shield and a short spear, with a bronze apple attached to the end of the spear-shaft, so that when it is shaken it may clash and terrify the enemy; and they also have daggers.”
~Cassius Dio, Roman History book 77
