A representative of the Russian House in New Delhi participated in a roundtable discussion at Jawaharlal Nehru University dedicated to the legacy of Leo Tolstoy

On September 10, Anastasia Kravchenko, a representative of the Russian House in New Delhi, took part in a roundtable at Jawaharlal Nehru University focused on the legacy of Leo Tolstoy.

During the event, Kravchenko gave a presentation on the life and literary career of the great Russian writer. Her talk highlighted the correspondence between Leo Tolstoy and Mahatma Gandhi, as well as the influence of the Russian literary giant's ideas on the philosophy of nonviolent resistance in India.

Additionally, the Russian House representative presented two books—the novels "War and Peace" and "Anna Karenina"—as a gift to the university library.
