▶️Food Security
The #EAEU demonstrates one of the world’s strongest levels of food security, with self-sufficiency in food products exceeding 93%. The next task is to expand mutual trade and encourage the establishment of new agro-industrial enterprises.
▶️Transport & Logistics
It is necessary to increase the capacity of existing routes and boost freight volumes. The Nevel–Gatchina railway section, with subsequent access to Russia’s northwestern seaports, has already been included in the list of priority projects.
▶️Energy Security
One of the EAEU’s advantages is low energy prices for its members. Promoting competition and greater transparency in cross-border trade will help create more favourable conditions for businesses and citizens, while also making more efficient use of generating capacity.
▶️Access to Global Markets
Another priority is expanding the presence of EAEU products in international markets and reducing tariff barriers for companies from member states.
🤝 Countries of the #SCO and #ASEAN, as well as African countries, have expressed interest in cooperation with the EAEU.
Negotiations are underway on free trade agreements with India and Tunisia.
“Together, we continue to ensure the implementation of the ‘Eurasian Economic Path’ declaration adopted by our Presidents,” Mikhail Mishustin said.
