“Russia Day” at the DITF.

On July 9, Russian Ambassador to Tanzania H.E. Andrey Avetisyan took part in the “Russia Day” within the framework of the 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF). The Tanzanian side was represented by Deputy Minister for Industry and Trade Hon. Dennis Londo.

The forum was aimed at facilitating dialogue among business communities of Russia, Tanzania and other East African states.

The event was attended by representatives of private and public Russian entities, including Rosatom, Wildberries, Inshu, St.Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange, Rapid Bio, and journalists of the information agencies “Sputnik Africa” and “African Initiative”.

The “Russia Day” at the DITF has been held on the Embassy’s initiative since 2024.
