✨ On September 4, Ambassador of Russia to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev met with the leaders of Future Team Pakistan (FTP), a youth organisation actively involved in coordinating Pakistani participants in the International Festival of Youth (IFY-2026). This year, the Festival will take place from September 11 to 17 in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

❗️FTP Chairman Danyal Hayat briefed Ambassador Khorev on the results of the selection campaign for IFY-2026. More than 10,000 applications were submitted from Pakistan, with around 250 young Pakistanis ultimately selected to participate in the Festival. They will represent their country across a wide range of fields, including the creative industries, public administration, science and education, sports, entrepreneurship, media, digitalisation and information technology.

🤝 Held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the meeting focused on the importance of further strengthening the cultural and humanitarian dialogue between Moscow and Islamabad, including expanding youth exchanges between the two neighbouring countries in the Eurasian region.

💡 The participants also put forward a number of concrete proposals to further develop cooperation between Russian and Pakistani representatives of science and culture. Particular attention was given to joint initiatives aimed at promoting a deeper and more objective understanding of Russia and Pakistan among the people of the two friendly countries.

✨️ 4 сентября Посол России в Пакистане А.П.Хорев провел встречу с лидерами молодежного объединения «Future Team Pakistan» (FTP), активно задействованного в координации пакистанских участников Международного фестиваля молодежи – МФМ-2026. В этом году фестиваль пройдёт с 11 по 17 сентября в Екатеринбурге.

❗️Председатель FTP Д.Хаят информировал А.П.Хорева об итогах кампании по отбору участников МФМ-2026. Из Пакистана было подано более 10 тысяч заявок. В итоге в фестивале примут участие порядка 250 молодых пакистанцев, которые представят свою страну в таких сферах, как креативная индустрия, государственное управление, наука и образование, спорт, предпринимательство, медиа, цифровизация и информационные технологии.

🤝 В ходе встречи, прошедшей в теплой и доверительной атмосфере, Посол России подчеркнул важность дальнейшего укрепления культурно-гуманитарного диалога Москвы и Исламабада, в том числе расширения молодежных обменов между двумя странами–соседями по Евразийскому региону.

Участники встречи также представили конкретные предложения по наращиванию взаимодействия между российскими и пакистанскими деятелями науки и культуры. Особое внимание было уделено совместным инициативам, нацеленным на формирование объективного восприятия России и Пакистана среди граждан двух дружественных стран.

✨️ The Annual International Educational Project “Nuclear Dictation – 2026” has officially begun. The project will run until September 28, concluding on Nuclear Industry Workers’ Day.

The Nuclear Dictation offers participants an opportunity to learn more about the history and achievements of the nuclear industry, its outstanding representatives and the latest developments in science and technology.

The project covers a wide range of topics, including nuclear energy, nuclear medicine, Arctic development, space exploration, and other areas where nuclear technologies are being applied.

❗️Anyone interested in these fields is welcome to participate. No special preparation or prior knowledge is required.

📎 Take part through the project’s official website. The Nuclear Dictation can be completed using a computer or smartphone.

The project is organized by the Union of “Atomic Cities” and supported by Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.

✨️ Стартовал ежегодный международный просветительский проект «Атомный диктант – 2026». Он продлится до 28 сентября и завершится в День работника атомной промышленности.

«Атомный диктант» знакомит участников с историей и достижениями атомной отрасли, ее выдающимися представителями, современной наукой и технологиями. Тематика проекта охватывает атомную энергетику, ядерную медицину, освоение Арктики, исследования космоса и другие направления, в которых применяются атомные технологии.

❗️Принять участие могут все желающие. Специальная подготовка для участия не требуется.

📎 Пройти диктант можно на официальном сайте проекта с компьютера или смартфона.

Организатор проекта – Союз организаций атомной отрасли «Атомные города». Диктант проводится при поддержке Госкорпорации «Росатом».

⭐️ September 3 is observed annually in Russia as the Day of Victory over Militaristic Japan and the End of the Second World War.

On August 9, 1945, the USSR entered the war against Japan, an ally of Nazi Germany that had unleashed aggression across the Asia-Pacific region. In less than a month, the Soviet Armed Forces carried out a decisive liberation campaign in the Far East, including in China and Korea, which had been occupied by Japanese militarists.

Drawing on extensive military experience and strategic expertise, the Soviet people made a decisive contribution to bringing the Second World War to an end and helped lay the foundations for the modern system of international relations, with the United Nations at its core.

To commemorate this Day of Military Glory, the Embassy of Russia in Pakistan presents a virtual photo exhibition entitled “Japan’s Surrender and the End of the Second World War,” prepared by Russia’s Victory Museum.

The exhibition features frontline sketches, posters and photographs that combine remarkable artistic expression with historical testimony.

Together, they tell the story of the courage, bravery and heroism of the Red Army in its fight against the last major stronghold of the Axis powers in the Asia-Pacific region.

⭐️ 3 сентября в России отмечается День Победы над милитаристской Японией и окончания Второй мировой войны.

9 августа 1945 г. СССР выступил против Японии – гитлеровского союзника, развязавшего агрессию в Азии и на Тихом океане. Менее чем за месяц СССР осуществил освободительную миссию на Дальнем Востоке, прежде всего в оккупированных японскими милитаристами Китае и Корее.

Благодаря накопленному военному опыту и стратегическому искусству советский народ поставил точку во Второй мировой войне, заложив фундамент современной системы международных отношений, в центре которой находится ООН.

По случаю этого Дня воинской славы Посольство России в Пакистане представляет виртуальную фотовыставку «Капитуляция Японии и окончание Второй мировой войны», подготовленную Музеем Победы.

Представленные фронтовые зарисовки, плакаты и фотографии демонстрируют высокое мастерство и повествуют о мужестве, отваге и героизме Красной Армии в борьбе с последним оплотом стран «оси» в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе.
