📖 The 8th edition of the annual English-language #CrimeanMagazine is available now, inviting readers to explore the peninsula’s economic development, international ties and rich cultural heritage.

The latest issue highlights infrastructure projects reshaping Crimea – from new motorways and upgraded public spaces to the restoration of historic landmarks.

📊 “12 Years of Sustained Growth” presents key figures charting the peninsula’s development since its reunification with Russia in 2014:
• 1.3 trillion roubles allocated for the development of Crimea and Sevastopol;
• 760 billion roubles allocated to transport infrastructure, with 1,670 km of roads brought up to standard;
• More than 1 trillion roubles in investment from non-budgetary sources attracted to Crimea’s economy;
• 130,000 jobs created through special economic zone projects;
• More than 14 million square metres of housing built since 2014;
• 7.4 million tourists welcomed in 2025 – up by 1.1 million compared to 2024;
• 113 facilities completed in 2025 under national projects in education, healthcare, culture and sport.

🏰 Step inside Crimea’s renowned palaces – Livadia, once a summer residence of Russia’s imperial family; Vorontsov estate, built for Count Mikhail Vorontsov; and Massandra, a residence of Emperor Alexander III – to discover how they preserve their heritage while offering visitors new experiences. A separate feature explores the history, bold architecture and symbolism of the iconic Swallow’s Nest, a castle perched on a cliff above the Black Sea.

Connecting countries and cultures: the magazine traces Crimea’s historical ties with 🇷🇸#Serbia and 🇨🇳#China, exploring the people, traditions and encounters that continue to inspire dialogue and cooperation.

Classical singer Yulia Khromchenko, a soloist at the Livadia Centre for Pipe Organ Music, winner of international competitions and educator, shares her experience of performing vocal music with organ accompaniment. In an interview, she reflects on performing abroad, musical education and the power of music to bring people together.

Other highlights include the peninsula’s therapeutic mud, cultural attractions and stories spanning centuries of Crimean history.
