🇷🇺🇮🇳 On 29 September, delegation from the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute headed by its Rector Nikita Gusev visited Jaipur, Rajasthan. Embassy was represented by Ms Yulia Aryaeva, Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in India.

💡 During the visit "Scientists of the Future" programme was presented at Vivekananda Global University. Students and faculty attended presentations by Russian scholars representing academic institutions from several cities across Russia.

📚 A significant outcome of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Pushkin Institute and Vivekananda Global University, laying the foundations for the introduction of Russian-language teaching and closer academic cooperation.

🤝 There was also the meeting held with Nathmal Didel, Commissioner for College Education, Government of Rajasthan. Parties discussed the prospects for introducing Russian-language teaching in government schools and colleges across the state as well as further opportunities for cooperation in this field.

🎓 The warmth of the reception in Jaipur and the interest shown by the Indian partners highlighted the strong potential for new forms of Russian-Indian cooperation in science, education and Russian-language teaching.
