🗓️ On September 24, Consul General of Russia in Chennai Valerii Khodzhaev took part in the inauguration of the 2nd Edition of Edu-Tech Expo 2026 organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (Southern Region) in Chennai.

🇮🇳 Thiru P Vishwanathan, Minister of Higher Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, Thiru Dheeraj Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, Thiru P Ravichandran, Chairman of CII Southern Region and others attended the event.

🇷🇺 Consul General outlined the measures being undertaken by the Russian Government to further develop the higher education system in line with the demands of a rapidly changing world, including the integration of cutting-edge technologies, such as artificial intelligence, into the educational process.

🗣️ Valerii Khodzhaev emphasized the significant expansion of academic cooperation between Russian and Indian universities in recent years and noted the considerable increase in the number of Indian students, including those from the state of Tamil Nadu, enrolled at Russian higher education institutions.
