🇷🇺🤝🇮🇳On September 18, Mr. Maxim Kozlov, Consul General of Russia in Kolkata, accompanied by his spouse Dr. Natalia Gerasimova, visited India’s oldest research center — the Asiatic Society, Kolkata, founded in 1784 — where they met with Lt.Col. Anant Sinha, Administrator.

🏛The parties discussed the organization of joint Russian-Indian academic events, including scientific exchange programs for faculty members and young scientists between Russian and Indian research institutions.

📜During the visit, the Consul General and his spouse viewed a unique collection of manuscripts, rare books, and archival documents as well as joined the institution's staff in celebrating Vishwakarma Puja.
