🇷🇺🌐 On 18 September, Counsellor of the Embassy of Russia in India Yulia Aryaeva took part in a meeting of the Trust of Russian-Speaking Women of Asia, organised with the support of the World Federation of Russian-Speaking Women.

🎤 In her opening remarks, the diplomat highlighted the important role of human connections in strengthening ties between societies and noted that initiatives of this kind create opportunities for new contacts, exchange of ideas and joint projects.

A welcoming address by Senator of the Russian Federation Yelena Afanaseva was also delivered to the guests and organisers of the Russian-Indian dialogue “Women Building Bridges”.

The participants were united by a shared interest in the Russian language and culture, as well as a commitment to developing humanitarian ties.

🇪🇬🇱🇦 Diplomats from the Embassies of Egypt and Laos also took part in the meeting.
