❓Question: On December 2, the construction of the first Ukrainian military production facility that is associated, in part, with Zelensky’s team – a plant that will produce drones and Fire Point missiles – began in Denmark, a NATO country. What is the Russian Foreign Ministry’s assessment of the impact of that decision on the potential aggravation of the Ukraine conflict?

💬 Maria Zakharova: We have recently initiated the discussion and commented on this topic, including at the September 12 briefing.

Denmark is the first state sponsor of the terrorist Kiev regime to provide its territory for the production of weapons components that will subsequently be used against peaceful cities in Russia.

This reckless move has reaffirmed a completely hostile militarist policy of Copenhagen. Acting jointly with several other countries that pursue an aggressive policy towards Russia, it is sabotaging efforts to coordinate a political and diplomatic settlement of the Ukraine crisis, which is fraught with increased escalation, and is encouraging the neo-Nazis in Ukraine, who have become neo-Nazi terrorists, to commit new barbaric crimes against civilians in Russian regions, as well as against civilian infrastructure located in or used by other countries.

The Danish authorities make no secret of the fact that this decision is also aimed at promoting the development of Ukraine’s military industrial complex, which is proof of a desire to continue to benefit from the continued bloodshed in Ukraine.

In addition, that initiative demonstrates Copenhagen’s total disregard for the interests of its own people, not to mention human rights. As you know, the West, including Copenhagen, has always examined trade deals and foreign policy. Is everything as it should be? Is it alright? Which human rights are respected in Ukraine? Do people there have at least one right, like the freedom of speech, the right to profess the religion they have always professed, or the right to live without intimidation and propaganda by the Kiev regime, which is mired in neo-Nazism? What rights do they have? People in Ukraine don’t even have a right to their own body organs, as per Zelensky’s amendments to legislation (regarding the removal of human organs, 2022). You are fully aware what I am talking about.

According to Danish experts, they are rushing the work to launch that production facility contrary to the basic industrial, fire and environmental safety requirements. They don’t care about ecology. As they say, it’s different. Of course, nobody has asked for the opinion of Danish citizens.

Russia will continue to firmly and strongly defend its legitimate interests, and will take appropriate military-technical measures to neutralise the arising national security threats.
