Alright, this was a joke. There is no RuCTF Edu.

However, RuCTF is still going to take place online on April 24th! The registration will be opened soon.
And, from now on, RuCTF will include both of our A/D competitions — the online one as well as the offline competition for top student teams, so please follow @RuCTF.

And what about @TRuCTF? We'll see.....

Time for some news

On April 24th we're making RuCTF — an online team competition, available for anybody. Previously we called it "RuCTFE" ('E' for Extended) but now we decided to change the name, because it seems like no one can really tell the difference between these two except for our developers themselves. From now on, the primary and main competition is called RuCTF.

This fall, best teams of RuCTF will be able to participate in RuCTF Edu — the finals among students. But you can just call it RuCTFE. You get this, right? In case you don't, remember, 'E' could also stand for "Ekaterinburg".

Later on, we will announce a task-based competition, TRuCTF. We haven't set an exact date yet, so follow us on our social media to stay updated:

Two years have passed as the world is wearing medical masks. The influx of covid waves will be the envy of any coast, and there are so many strains of the virus that you can assemble a platinum collection of the Greek alphabet. This year, RuCTFE takes place on 19th December. Make sure you've made that Sunday free for some good old A/D. The game will show, who's the best at Going We Know Not Whither and Fetching We Know Not What.

Let RuCTF 2021 be!

After a long time of clearing the details and getting things done, we shall now announce: RuCTF 2021 will take place online on October, 3.

Starting at 12:00 PM YEKT (7:00 AM UTC), the game takes 8 hours non-stop. A new set of invites (like the old ones, just with some additional details) will arrive this weekend, network test configurations are coming on 24.09.

And for anybody who doesn't participate, we're making a live translation, where our developers are going to talk about services. You will also hear talks from our friends from Kaspersky Laboratories, Rosatom, SFT0 team and Free TON Community.

Unfortunately, we must reschedule RuCTF.
A part of the development team got infected with COVID, and now they're staying home and are not able to finish services for the game.
And we are not able to host RuCTF without services. We also don't want to let down our developers and teams, who wanted to come in Yekaterinburg, so we are moving RuCTF to the second half of August.

Searching-Vulnerabilities-In-Real-Products Month organized by Kontur was long enough, yet it's over now!

We got some more reports, but unfortunately, there weren't any successful ones.
So we congratulate team SFT0 from Moscow - these guys are getting 100 000 ₽ from Kontur and are now able to participate in RuCTF 2021 with both of their teams of 7 people each!

Searching-Vulnerabilities-In-Real-Products Month ends today, however, we only have one winner - team SFT0, who will get 100 thousand rubles and the invitation of their second team (if they had one) to RuCTF 2021. Congrats!

It’s been half a month since we together with Kontur started the searching-vulnerabilities-in-real-products Month. We’ll be taking reports for another two weeks. The first and only team on the scoreboard is SFT0 with two reports.
Just reminding you, that the prize fund is 200,000₽ and an invitation to RuCTF 2021. SFT0 is already invited, so even if you send a low priority vulnerability, you could still receive around 50,000₽ and a chance to participate in RuCTF 2021!
