ROAM’s wasteland has more ground worth fighting over. The Fallen Sun is now a wreck you can drive through and loot, Old Orchard a sprawling military farm, and Broken Wing has a driveable wing deck. The desert has a warmer, rougher look. Lincoln, Niva and Bukhanka trucks have joined the road.
Combat no longer happens in one instant: shots, impacts and damage play out, cargo spills from destroyed racks, and a hard cab hit can knock out a driver. Spend XP on the skills you choose. Listen to J.J. on Waste Of Time Radio. Settlements now offer fuel and repairs, and a broke driver can get a free tow. There are dozens of smaller fixes to driving, scavenging and survival.
