🇬🇧⚡- Gloucestershire Constabulary, GC, have declared a major incident in Whelford, home to RAF Fairford, following the arrest of multiple individuals under the Explosives Act amid local media reports of booby-trapped vehicles. Army's specialist teams are currently on-site examining the vehicles.

In response, RAF Fairford has been elevated to its highest security level, FPCON DELTA, while RAF Lakenheath has moved to the second-highest alert level, FPCON CHARLIE, following a similar security incident.

All entry and exit points to Whelford have been sealed off by armed security personnel, and the local Constabulary have evacuated residents from the area. Two police helicopters are currently operating over the area.

Note, the town of Whelford is directly adjacent to RAF Fairford's bombers parking slots.
