A Coinbase wallet is not a truly decentralized wallet. Instead, it is a centralized wallet that can potentially be manipulated during events such as the EBS (Emergency Broadcast System) activation or the 10 days of internet shutdown that are said to accompany it.
Because of this, Coinbase is not the right wallet for storing your QFS (Quantum Financial System) digital assets, which are often referred to as ISO 20022 tokens.
ISO 20022 is the messaging language used by QFS banks for communication and transactions. This implies that these assets are digital currencies operating on the new system, not fiat money like the U.S. dollar. The key point is to convert your existing fiat currency into ISO 20022-compliant tokens, since these are what the Quantum Financial System is designed to work with.
There are essentially seven main ISO 20022-compliant cryptocurrencies:
XRP (Ripple) – designed for fast cross-border payments.
XLM (Stellar) – focuses on low-cost money transfers.
XDC (XinFin) – built for trade finance and enterprise use.
ALGO (Algorand) – scalable, eco-friendly blockchain.
IOTA – focused on Internet of Things (IoT) transactions.
QNT (Quant) – enables interoperability between blockchains and financial systems.
What the Acronym ISO 20022 Stands For
ISO = International Organization for Standardization
20022 = The specific standard number for financial messaging
This means that these cryptocurrencies are structured to comply with the ISO 20022 standard, making them suitable for integration with the new financial system.
