PancakeSwap Proposes Raising LP Fee Share to 88% and Cutting Daily CAKE Emissions 69%
PancakeSwap’s Kitchen has proposed raising the LP share of swap fees to 88% on v3 and Infinity across all 11 chains, with the remaining 12% going to the Treasury. v2 would stay unchanged. Based on 2025 volume, LPs would receive an estimated $62 million more in fees. Trader rates would not change, but liquidity depth is projected to rise by up to 30% and price impact to fall 20–25%.
Daily CAKE emissions would fall from 22,500 to 7,000, a roughly 69% cut, with the 7,000 going to the Pantry ecosystem growth fund. That would reduce annual minting by about 5.7 million CAKE. Supply has already fallen 11.5% since Tokenomics 3.0 in April 2025, and the plan aims to keep a roughly 20% supply cut by 2030. Implementation is planned to start in November 2026, within two weeks of the proposal passing, and finish by the end of January 2027. It is still in discussion and will go to a Snapshot vote. — link
