Former FTX Europe Head’s Perpetuals com Files to Trade Tokenized U.S. Stocks Under SEC Innovation Exemption
Nasdaq-listed Perpetuals com, led by former FTX Europe head Patrick Gruhn, has filed with the SEC to operate a tokenized securities venue under the five-year Innovation Exemption.
It is the second firm to pursue U.S. tokenized stock trading under the framework, after the OKX-ICE joint venture. Tokens must carry the same dividend and voting rights as ordinary shares, and companies have 30 days to object.
Trading is planned via permissioned AMM pools on its Ethereum-compatible L2 Kronos X Public, with USDC as the settlement asset. A launch could come as early as mid-November. — link
