Media controlled by the Kyiv authorities claim that this terrorist act was the work of "Ukrainian partisans" who will force Ukrainians collaborating with the Russian authorities to "run away or be destroyed."

The purpose of the terror that the Kyiv authorities unleashed on territories that are not under their control is to intimidate and demoralize the inhabitants of these territories, to inspire them that now they will live in constant fear for their lives.
