On June 7, 2022, Odessa journalist Yuriy Tkachev was released from arrest after posting a bail in the amount of about 200 thousand hryvnias.
The journalist was detained on March 19 and charged with "illegal possession of weapons and explosives" (Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Despite the release from arrest, the trial of the journalist will soon begin.
He faces 7 years in prison.
