On July 5, 2022, a letter was published by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny stating that Ukrainians can leave the cities and villages where they live only with the permission of local military commissars: https://t.me/repressionoftheleft/1046.

The same order was adopted by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (subordinates to Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny).

Obviously, this decision of the military authorities is due to the fact that Ukrainians do not want to fight and run away en masse from mobilization into the army.

Military commissars, together with the police, detain men on the streets, hand over subpoenas to the army in churches, clubs, and on the beaches.

But even such methods of mobilization did not lead to the replenishment of the Ukrainian army, which suffered heavy losses in the Donbass, so the commander in chief and the general staff decided to prohibit men from leaving their cities without permission.

This caused a flurry of criticism from Ukrainians, who called Zaluzhny's decision the return of "serfdom."

And already on July 6, Zaluzhny, after a conversation with Supreme Commander Zelensky (in Ukraine, the positions of commander in chief and supreme commander in chief), canceled the order of the general staff and sent this order for revision.

Many observers believe that the abolition of Zaluzhny's decision on "serfdom" for Ukrainians is the result of the game of the Office of the Supreme Commander (President).

Zelensky fears political competition with Zaluzhny, so his office staff initially encouraged Zaluzhny to make an unpopular decision.

Now Zelensky will appropriate the merit of canceling this decision on "serfdom".

However, the military department of Ukraine does not leave attempts to increase the number of soldiers.

If not at the expense of men, then at the expense of Ukrainian women.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine can now mobilize Ukrainian women into the army who have the specialties of a journalist, chemist, physicist, geographer, culinary specialist and many others.
