Ezekiel 18:30-32 is a huge proof text for repent meaning a change of mind. God separates the word "repent," away from "and turn yourselves from their transgressions" with both the word "AND" and a comma " , " to show repent does not mean turn from sins and does not mean "repent of sins".
God uses synonymous wording (words that match each otherβs same direct meaning) in Ezekiel 18:30 & Ezekiel 18:31 to show that repent is "make you a new heart and new spirit", which is the same as a change of mind
[30] Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, AND turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
[31] Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? [32] For I have no pleasure in the death of him
that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore
turn yourselves, and live ye. βππ‘πππ₯ππππ πΌπ©ππππππ
