David Cloud unbiblically claims, "Second, we see this definition ('repentance is a change of mind that results in a change of life') in all of the biblical examples of salvation." However, Paul did repent of making his 1st letter to the Corinthians when writing again to them in 2 Corinthians 2:8, proving that repent does not always refer to salvation in the Bible. Furthermore, God, who never sinned and never needed salvation from sin, repented in Scripture (Jonah 3:10, Exodus 32:14, Amos 7:3,6, Exodus 7:13, 2 Kings 24:6. 1 Samuel 15:35, Jeremiah 26:19, Genesis 6:6, 1 Chronicles 21:15, Joel 2:13-14). Also, David Cloud attempts to make Revelation 9:20-21 and 16:21, passages which never mention biblical salvation/the gospel/how to be saved, into somehow being passages about repentance for salvation. Remember that repent is a change of mind. ("Questions Answered About Repentance") Source of picture βππ‘πππ₯ππππ πΌπ©ππππππ & π¬πππ π±ππππ πΏπππππππ
