The biblical meaning of repentance for salvation is change of mind from unbelief to believing on the risen Lord Jesus Christ alone for salvation. REPENT IS NOT TURNING FROM SIN TO BE SAVED AND IS NOT ANY TYPE OF WORKS.

Mark 1:15 KJB
and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

More proof repent = believe, not turn from sins for salvation
