Incredible connection between Acts 19:4-5 & Galatians 3:26-27
In Galatians 3, faith in Christ Jesus (verse 26 is what baptism into Christ is (verse 27).
In Acts 19, the baptism of repentance is when somebpdy believes on Christ Jesus (verse 4-5), which is what "baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus" means.
Acts 19:4-5 KJB
[4] Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. [5] When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Galatians 3:26-27 KJB
[26] For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Baptism of repentance = believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved. Repentance is simply a change of mind and is not physical water baptism.
Repentance:
From unbelief/trusting works, yourself, or unbiblical false idols/false gods, to only believe on the risen Lord Jesus Christ for salvation.
Repent is not turn from sin to be saved and is not repent of sins to be saved.
