Hello, happy people!

Today is for Reddit, they went 100% remote starting from October last year. Last week I got in contact with their team members and they confirmed that they are willing to hire anywhere including Russia and Europe.

They have got team members in Moscow, Ivanovo, Udmurtia, Russia. They do require some sort of overlap with the GMT-8 timezone depending on the immediate team you are working with.

My passion for remote work started back in 2012 when I met an illustrator at the Spanish classes I was taken back then. The illustrator told me she was getting freelance orders on the Odesk website which is now known as Upwork. They rebranded soon after that. I remember searching through the pages of different available offers and not getting any of the jobs.

Today, 9 years after, I'm happy to tell you about remote jobs at Upwork themselves as the Upwork-company, not the freelance gigs that they promote. They are claiming to be a remote-first organization supported by offices in Santa Clara and Chicago. The only thing I that looks a bit concerning to me on their careers pages is this line.

<<We encourage everyone to bring their whole selves to work and grow together...>> I read it as they are expecting their team members to drown in the work and team and get fully absorbed by the work. Given my current situation, I would recommend exploring this expectation at the job interviews if you get to that stage. Good luck!

I need your advice and opinions please. I’m a workaholic and I rarely find time for having fun and switching away from my work, blogs, business projects.

How do you handle password management for both personal and business use? When working remotely, it is highly important to secure your personal as well as work account credentials.

A couple of months ago I stumbled into the tool called Bitwarden and sort of liked it because it is free and open-source and provides the needed security. I've promoted their jobs earlier and they seem to have some new openings atm.
