Contacting the judge or court staff directly about your individual circumstances, claims, grievances, or the status of this case is highly inappropriate and unacceptable. 

This conduct is not a helpful or acceptable way to advocate for yourself. It has risked procedural and strategic complications that undermine the orderly administration of the case and jeopardize the interests of the very people this litigation is intended to benefit. Your actions do not affect only you. They can have consequences for every other plaintiff and class member. The fact that this is a class action does not give any plaintiff or class member permission to bypass established court procedures or communicate with chambers outside the proper legal process.

If you have questions, concerns, or information relating to this case, you must raise them through your class counsel. Do not email the judge, contact chambers, approach courtroom staff, or attempt to obtain an individual response from the Court regarding your claims. 

If you have already sent an email or other communication to the judge, chambers, or court staff, do not send further communications or attempt to follow up. Do not attempt to explain, defend, or compound the situation through additional direct contact. Any further steps should be handled through the appropriate legal channels.

This is a serious warning, and not a suggestion. Do not jeopardize your own interests—or those of every other plaintiff and class member—by engaging in unauthorized communications with the Court. This conduct must stop immediately and must not happen again.
