MACCALLUM: So, you're saying it's okay if El-Sayed is friends with the Muslim Brotherhood and he supports their mission of eradicating Israel?
TRENT: I think that it was definitely okay to be in favor of the Arab Spring. You know who else was in favor of Arab Spring and then cheered on the Muslim Brotherhood, you know, everything? It was John McCain. John McCain.
MACCALLUM: That was a freedom push.
TRENT: That was another person.
MACCALLUM: Absolutely. Yes, that was a totally different issue, totally different issue, no parallel whatsoever.
TRENT: Is it though?
MACCALLUM: And we could -- I don't want to go down this rabbit hole any further with you.
TRENT: The Muslim Brotherhood was part of that push, period.
MACCALLUM: The Muslim Brotherhood has founded Hamas, has backed the proxies, Iran's proxies all over the Middle East. They want an end to Israel.
TRENT: I'll tell you what, down here in the holler --
MACCALLUM: This is why it should be an easy question.
TRENT: Down here in the holler --
MACCALLUM: Let me get Matt in here.
TRENT: you start coming in and killing people, and you know what the holler's going to do? It's going to push back. That's the reason people around here want the Second Amendment.
MACCALLUM: Look, that's your viewpoint.
TRENT: So (INAUDIBLE) some of these folks come from.
MACCALLUM: Look, that's your viewpoint. I disagree, and I think a lot of people would just in terms of basic American foreign policy.
