CNN Political Commentator Paul Begala reacted to James Talarico's Townhall performance and his distancing from the left wing of the Democrat Party:

PAUL BEGALA: This is like the thing that makes my head explode when when stupid people on other networks say all the energy is on the left in the Democratic party really? really? He's running away from the left like the devil runs from holy water. He is moderate, centrist, that's where the energy is, that's where the winning is. That's where the voters are. James Talarico knows that and I think other democrats ought to take a look at him and lots of other Democrats around the country and see that the real energy in this country and in my party is in the center and that's exactly what Talarico is doing tonight.
