President Trump gave his endorsement to livestream the public execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan, who was sentenced to death for killing 13 people at the Texas military base in 2009. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced on Thursday that the firing squad execution of Hasan would be public "because people need to understand that there's serious consequences for these types of things." "We're giving a man the death penalty who killed 14 soldiers...death penalty through firing squad. He deserves it."
