Pollster Mark Penn criticizes Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed's campaign in an interview with FOX News host Martha MacCallum.

MARTHA MACCALLUM: Well, we talked to [Abdul El-Sayed] about a lot of things along that list and Hasan Piker is someone that we have dug into a lot. I haven't seen the particular comments that you mentioned from Piker, although we have played some pretty strong stuff from him. Mark, your thoughts on what stood out?

MARK PENN: Well, look, I think you see the power of completely disingenuous campaigning. I mean, you know, I have to agree. Some of the things that he said were just so completely stunning. Look, obviously you didn't hear him condemn Hamas, Hezbollah. You didn't hear him condemn Iran. You didn't really hear him ever condemn any of the forces out there really trying to upset and destabilize the world. He said, well, if you prove to me that somebody's a terrorist, I will be against them. Well, I think there's pretty good proof out there.

Then, look, this whole inflation rap, I think the Republicans are not putting it in context. Prices went up under Biden 22%. They went as high as 8% a year. Inflation is down to about 3%, maybe even going down. And even with having to fight a war and even with defending American jobs with protective tariffs, inflation is still 30 or 40% of what it was under the Democrats. And so I'm surprised that no one has really effectively made the argument. So there were so many counters to the things.

And of course, Medicaid for all is just simply 100% government run health insurance, which is going to require massive taxes in order to pay. Anybody knows that? And then on top of it, he was trying to kind of do this whole, "I'm against corporate money," but taking left wing billionaire money is really okay.
