FOX BUSINESS NETWORK: They believe that. The Democrats are seizing on this, though. They're making this their messaging. They've been very clear they're going to take this into the midterms.

SPEAKER MIKE JOHNSON: This is what Democrats do. They glom on to something and say, "This is doom and gloom and everyone will die if we don't win." Don't buy it.

It is a Chinese psyop. I think they're pushing those ideas. I think our candidates on the campaign trail have made a very good case for this, and the Republicans can say you have to regard community influence. Trust is earned; it's not automatic.

So the companies that go in to build AI infrastructure need to meet with the community and make sure that you have ratepayer protection pledges in place and all of that.

We passed the bill through the House a couple weeks ago, the Ratepayer Protection Act, which codifies President Trump's provision that says if somebody's going to go in and build one of these - this infrastructure - then they need to assure the local community they'll be good corporate partners. Your rates won't go up, the water resources - there's a lot of precautions that can be made.
And where it's done well, they partner with the community. It's a win-win-win because it provides a lot of jobs and new investment, and that's what these communities need.
