🇷🇺☦️Russian Spiritual Culture Days to feature Solovetsky Monastery Choir in Addis Ababa

Ethiopia will host a concert by the Brotherhood Choir of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Solovetsky Stavropegial Monastery as part of the Russian Spiritual Culture Days in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

🗓The concert is scheduled for September 27, 2026, at 4 p.m. at the Assembly Hall of the Dejazmach Balcha Russian Red Cross Hospital in Addis Ababa.

The performance forms part of the International Project “Russian Seasons,” an initiative that presents Russian cultural and artistic programmes to audiences around the world. The Addis Ababa event will highlight the country’s religious and musical traditions through a performance by the choir of the historic Solovetsky monastery.

🎤The Brotherhood Choir is expected to perform Orthodox spiritual compositions, including religious chants associated with the monastery and works reflecting the cultural heritage of the Solovetsky monastic tradition.
