🌱 RCOY Central Asia 2026: Day 2 in Samarkand!

The second day of RCOY Central Asia 2026 focused on turning youth ideas into concrete regional climate priorities and preparing the Central Asian Youth Climate Statement.

🌍 Young participants worked together to finalize their recommendations on climate action, water governance, youth participation and regional cooperation.

📜 The Regional Youth Statement was officially presented and handed over to Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan; Felipe Paullier, UN Assistant Secretary-General; Alisher Sa’dullayev, Director of the Youth Affairs Agency, as well as representatives of government and international organizations.

🤝 The presentation marked an important step toward bringing young people’s ideas and recommendations into regional climate discussions and decision-making processes.
