In just one week, young climate leaders from across Central Asia and beyond will come together in Samarkand to exchange ideas, build connections, and shape youth-driven solutions for water security and climate justice.

RCOY Asia-Pacific 2026 is creating a space for young climate leaders from across the region to connect, learn from one another, and turn shared challenges into collective action.

For Central Asian youth, this means becoming part of a wider regional climate network - sharing our experiences, amplifying our voices, and building stronger connections beyond our region.

We know many of you have been waiting patiently for the results, and we’ve received so many questions and messages about the selection process. Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued interest throughout this time! 💚

📨 We’re very happy to finally announce that the results of RCOY Central Asia 2026 are officially out!

Our in-person delegates have been selected and will join us in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, from 4–6 September for three days of dialogue, learning, collaboration and collective action around water security and climate justice.

This year, we’re bringing together young climate advocates from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia!

✨ To everyone who applied — thank you for your interest, time and commitment. We received applications from young people across the region, and the selection process was highly competitive.

We can’t wait to meet you in Samarkand and create RCOY Central Asia 2026 together!

We’re inviting Central Asia young leaders, youth-led organisations, and climate advocates from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan to join the RCOY Asia Pacific 2026 Regional Youth Statement (RYS) – Central Asia Consultation.

This will be an opportunity to share our priorities, concerns, demands, and recommendations and collectively contribute to the Asia-Pacific Regional Youth Statement ahead of COY21 & COP31.
