"Furthermore, in a one-hour lecture to the entire squadron, the training officer, standing in for the ailing squadron commander, discussed the artwork "Victory of the Weapons - Victory of the Child," which had been distributed to every squadron member. Using this excellent visual material, the SS members were shown that increased genetically healthy offspring were not only desirable but essential for the survival of the German people. The lecture also addressed the measures the state had already taken to prevent the birth of undesirable offspring, the support it offered to genetically healthy children, and the dangers of mixing genetically healthy blood with blood from those with genetic disorders. The Pole, whom every squadron member saw daily, served as the best analogy."
