Family calendar options

TLDR: who currently uses what? And how are you finding it?

My use case is probably similar to lots of people.

Wife uses an iPhone, I use a pixel, we want a shared household calendar/system to manage bookings meals, shopping lists etc.

On top of the phones, I'd like to have a tablet in the kitchen that anyone can update shopping lists etc and look at.

If I can selfhost then that would be perfect as I'm already running a sensible setup with Ubuntu etc.
