Self-hosters: what's still missing from your productivity tools today?

The Question: What bugs you about self hosted/online productivity tools most? Do you use any online productivity tools, and if so, what do you wish they did that they don’t do today?

This question has come up over and over again in my own personal life, and I’m extremely curious: what gripes do you have with self hosted or online productivity tools today? There are a lot of reasons to love the productivity tools you use today, and I’d like to hear what features you cannot live without that your current implementations may not yet have.

There are an increasing amount of options to choose from every day, but that does not necessarily mean they all have the features that meet your workflow.

So that begs the question: what does the ultimate productivity tool look like to you? Is self hosted important to you? What do or don’t you like about online tools today?
