A tale as old as time

I'm fairly new to linux (started 3 months ago) but I'm a really fast learner

I felt like I am ready for tiling window managers so I decided to try hyprland with caelestia shell

I set up cachy with hyperland (I wanted to try out cachy for the supposed gaming benefits anyways) and spent the following 4 hours in dependacy hell because for some weird reason Caelestia's installer kept trying to delete quickshell 0.3.1.0 since I have noctalia (I didn't have it, I specifically removed it and grep couldn't find any mention of it)

After I finally finished troubleshooting and got it working all I was met with was disappointment

1. Caeleatia works worse for me than kde both in terms of ram usage and in terms of my specific workflow

2. I just didn't like it as much as I expected

I spent 4 hours just to learn I shouldn't have, I feel like I paid for an expensive restaurant and came out hungry

I know it's just a part of life but I was so excited and now I'm just... bored
