Hassle-free hardware combination in Linux
After installing linux on multiple systems, my most hassle-free hardware combination is:
Intel CPU (any) + AMD GPU (any) + Intel WiFi adapter (AX210) + Intel LAN Controller (i210)
Ryzen CPU works out of the box but sometimes I got black screen after waking up or at idle, it happens randomly, turns out its quite common "Ryzen C-state issue".
Nvidia GPU gotten quite better for the last few years but still needs a multiple workaround to make it work reliably.
Realtek WiFi and LAN Controller is a pain for me, random disconnection, buggy ASPM support, etc. Migrating to Intel AX210 and i210 eliminate all of my problems immediately.
Is it only me or does anyone feel the same?
