Pipewire sucks for me, pulseaudio forever

I gave pipewire a fair run on my work computer with multiple audio sources and sinks (a usb connected jabra), a headphone, video camera and ​internal speakers.


For months I struggled with zoom audio cutting out, not being redirected correctly. I installed helvum and used it nifty audio redirection gui.

In the end do you know what gave me reliable audio? apt purge pipewire pipewire-pulse wireplumber. apt install pulseaudio.

I'm on a relatively modern machine​ running debian trixie, and i3 wm.

I just wanted to put that out there because the majority of the posts go on and on about how amazing pipewire is.
