General.el still relevant for Evil users? Sensible Evil and org-mode config, package recommendations
* Is general.el still relevant for Evil users? Revisiting my years old config coming back to Emacs for org-mode, I'm not sure the abstraction is worth the complexity and the project seems to be on limbo. Is there a way to configure leader key timeout to avoid accidental triggers of e.g. space key as leader key? I believe that was why general.el was needed.
* Can anyone recommend sensible config for Evil (to match Neovim as closely as possible, reducing cognitive overhead from minor inconsistencies)? Interested in org-mode config as well, especially for those who use the amazing [org-super-agenda](https://github.com/alphapapa/org-super-agenda) and [org-ql](https://github.com/alphapapa/org-ql) packages (sadly, development for both seems to have stopped, same as general.el). Would love to see people's workflows and to tweak from as a non-programmer. Curious what package accompaniments for Evil and org-mode may be recommended nowadays.
* It seems Emacs have some significant updates in the past few years with things like use-package and which-key being core, curious to know what packages you guys find essential in general too.
Any tips and recommendations are much appreciated. Currently using [minimal-emacs.d](https://github.com/jamescherti/minimal-emacs.d) as basis and its README has been helpful.
