Blazingly fast alternatives

Hi guys,

I am writing some experiment to speed up static file serving from IIS and I was looking for fast functions on Win32 for:
Sha512 calculation of files
Check if files on disk exist

Are there any libraries which have magic fast alternatives for the standard library?
