How to: Fix FAA TN (FTN) in PSI System

Hey all, trying to support the community here with something I just figured out.

Problem:
When you sign up for your PPL written, you can be issued a temporary FTN that starts with "C." Later, you are issued a permanent FTN that starts with "A". This discrepancy can cause paperwork issues when you complete other written tests, and confuse DPEs and others, and you cannot change it on your own in PSI's website.

Solution:

Include the FTN that PSI has, your permanent FTN, and say that you need your FTN updated or "merged" apparently. (That's the term the rep used when I called to get this fixed.) Wait a few days for them to perform the fix, then boom, you're good to go.
