Amputee and piloting: I have questions.
Hello everyone, I wasn't sure if this was the place where I could post this? Or maybe if the Mods can point me in a good direction.
I have dreamt of becoming a pilot and getting a piloting license for some time as a kid and the inspiration came back to me as an adult. I am a double leg amputee and have been practically my entire life. I have been debating with myself if I want to truly pursue this after I finish some personal life goals I am currently chasing. I am 2ft 6in (standing on hands) and have fantastic arm strength and mobility. I am and excellent driver and can do a lot of things able bodied people can do. What i do not know, however, are the potential challenges that would face me if I do pursue a pilots license. Would I even be able to pilot without legs? What are some potential limitations for someone like me in becoming a pilot? I simply do not know and I didn't know who to ask or where until I found this subreddit.
Again, if my post breaks the rules I do apologize. I'm only trying to either find some answers or be pointed in the right direction. Thank you all for your time :)
