Palestinian mother Samah Shehadeh, 47, from Tulkarm refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, shared an emotional farewell with her two children before surrendering to Israeli forces at the Jabara checkpoint, south of Tulkarm.

Heartbreaking footage shows her kissing and embracing her children before walking towards the checkpoint.

Shehadeh is the mother of Jihad Shehadeh, a Palestinian killed by Israeli forces in November 2023.
