An Israeli airstrike targeted a residential apartment in western Gaza City, killing four women, without prior warning, and while residents were asleep.

The strike penetrated the targeted apartment, causing further damage throughout the multi-story building.

Fires continued to burn for at least an hour before Palestinian Civil Defense crews managed to extinguish them.
