US Senator Bernie Sanders said the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) plans to spend $233 million during the 2026 midterm elections to defeat candidates who criticize Israeli war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.

Sanders also said AIPAC had already spent $33 million opposing Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, and renewed his call for an end to US military aid to Israel.
