๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ The Russian Supreme Court has refused a bid to reconsider Case No. ะ56-6573/2025. This means that the cassation courtโ€™s position โ€” according to which the Commonwealth of Independent States Agreement dated March 20, 1992 prevails over the Russian Arbitrazh Procedural Code โ€” has been upheld.

As a result, Russian courts cannot invoke the public policy defense to deny recognition of foreign court decisions originating from the Republic of Azerbaijan ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ, the Republic of Armenia ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฒ, the Republic of Belarus ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡พ, the Republic of Kazakhstan ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ฟ, the Kyrgyz Republic ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ฌ, the Republic of Tajikistan ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฏ, Turkmenistan ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฒ, or the Republic of Uzbekistan ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฟ.
