A memorial ceremony for Saint George, including Mass, was held at the Saint George Armenian Church in Tehran, with the presence of Ara Shahverdyan, the Armenian Christian representative in Iran’s parliament.

Saint George was an Armenian military commander who was killed in 303 AD for promoting Christianity.
