Friends, family, and colleagues gathered in Bowling Green Sunday to say their final goodbyes to fallen Kentucky State Police Trooper Hayden Phillips.

The 28-year-old trooper was shot and killed Monday, Sept 28 during a traffic stop in Warren County. He leaves behind his wife, Jordan, as well as three children.

A steady stream of mourners began entering the E.A. Diddle Arena for his funeral at 12 p.m. Sunday. Among them are first responders from across Kentucky and officers who traveled from as far away as Washington state and Texas.
